We want to acknowledge the Superheroes in our box — our nurses, first responders, and all those on the front lines — who work tirelessly day after day during this pandemic.
It is our small way to THANK YOU for all you do! #cynergysuperheroes
Today we recognize a power duo, Colleen and Casey Florence
Colleen has worked as an RN for over 9 years. She is currently working at Good Samaritan Medical Center in the Emergency Room and in the Cardiac Cath lab. She also worked in the ER at South Shore Hospital for about 5 years.
Casey has worked at Bridgewater Fire Dept as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic for 9 years and Brockton Hospital as an Emergency Room RN for 5 years.

We have been married 5 years (in July) and live in our forever home in Bridgewater with our 2 daughters, Abigail (3) and Isabelle (2) and our awesome chocolate lab, Bruce (6). None of our immediate family members are in the medical field but all of them support us 110% and we’re truly lucky for them. Many family members live in Bridgewater or close by for which we are fortunate. Luckily, there’s FaceTime and social media to keep in touch with those further away, like Colleen’s sister and brother in law in Italy.
Our message to the community:
Times like this are a moment to reset and reevaluate what’s important. Family, health and community. Cynergy has been such a large part of our lives for almost a decade and now we are left with a void that is the physical presence of the gym. To see not only the Cynergy community but all of our local communities come together to support the people that are bearing whatever hardships they are enduring is inspirational and makes us want to continue pressing forward to persevere through these times. When we resume “normal lives” let’s not take for granted the moments we can be together to workout and more importantly let’s continue to elevate those around us when life gets hard.
Just support us. Don’t be frightened that frontline workers make up the Cynergy community. We’re most likely more germ-neurotic and hand-washing savvy than those hoarding all the Clorox wipes!
