Thank You Superhero Sonia Santos!

We want to acknowledge the Superheroes in our box — our nurses, first responders, and all those on the front lines — who work tirelessly day after day during this pandemic. It is our small way to THANK YOU for all you do! #cynergysuperhero

Today, we recognize Sonia Santos

Sonia Santos has worked as a Critical Care Nurse in ED and ICU at Norwood Hospital for 20 years. She has been stationed mainly in the ICU since the pandemic.

Her message to the community:

Stay home unless you need to buy food or other items that you need. Wear your masks in public and wash your hands frequently. COVID is a very real and serious illness. We as nurses want the community to be aware that we are working hard to take care of our patients. Unfortunately some patients are passing away but a lot of people are recovering — which is so awesome and makes us love what we do even more. It’s hard work but it’s our job.

I would also like to thank the community for donating PPE, making us masks and hats etc. Also, the amount of food our community has sent us is just so appreciated. We are all going to need to do extra workouts after all this.

I have 2 beautiful daughters who are the best kids around and are very proud of me just like I am of them. They are beautiful, kind human beings that I’m blessed to have. 🥰
