Thank You Superhero Michelle Trojano!

We want to acknowledge the Superheroes in our box — our nurses, first responders, and all those on the front lines — who work tirelessly day after day during this pandemic.

It is our small way to THANK YOU for all you do! #cynergysuperhero

Today, we recognize Michelle Trojano

I have worked at Boston Medical Center for 29 years since I was 20 years old as a registered nurse. I have worked in almost every department, but my most recent assignment was in Trauma Surgery. Although one month ago I transferred to Labor and Delivery only to be called back to help in the Covid ICU.

I have a wonderful husband Todd and together we have 3 amazing sons. My oldest Max 26 is in his third year of Medical School at Penn State hoping to become an emergency medicine physician. He married the love of his life childhood sweetheart who has since become the daughter I never had. My second Frankie 23 is working as a project manager at a large construction outfit around the city of Boston, and my youngest is currently living in Israel playing Lacrosse on the Israeli National team. He hopes to join the Israeli army when the quarantine is lifted.

My message is simple:

Love and community are the essence of life and we need to be kind to one another to survive. Family goes far beyond namesake and treating each other as family will change the world for the better. We are all human and we all matter!

I have received tons of support from this community thus far! The check-ins mean the world to me! Sometimes it feels as though I walk between 2 worlds… the hospital madness can make one feel crazy especially working long hours… just knowing there is somewhat of a sense of normalcy around me is very helpful when I feel frightened and alone.

My Cynergy family is so incredibly important to me and each and every one of you holds a special place in my heart!

Thank you for all you do for this community!
