Today, we recognize Colleen Bates
Colleen has worked at South Shore Hospital Critical Care Unit for 20 years and at the hospital for 21 years.
She has been married to her husband Tom for 16 1/2 years. She has 2 boys Christian, 14 and Brayden, 11.
Her message to the community:
Covid 19 is very real & scary! Yes, people are dying from it but some are also surviving it. The symptoms range from loss of smell & taste to fever & cough to full blown respiratory distress. Just please be mindful of your behavior, surroundings and your health.
Please stay home and only go to stores when necessary for food & other necessities. If you can, donate any masks, surgical hats or disposable gowns to your local hospitals. Be strong at home so we can be strong for our patients.
