Today we recognize and acknowledge Coach Jennifer Tully at Cynergy!
Coach Jennifer Tully’s impact is far reaching. She has played a major role in the development of Cynergy’s youngest athletes with our Cynergy Kids Program. Her involvement in this program from day 1 combined with her unmatched passion for working with kids has made this 17+ year program one of the best around. Her enthusiasm and love for what she does is evident in the energy she creates in her classes. I think she may have more fun then the kids do! 🙂
Coach Jennifer Tully is also the driving force behind Cynergy Boot Camp. Her commitment and devotion to this program and the encouragement and support she provides to those that she coaches has made this program another long standing Cynergy success story. This program has been running for over 2 decades!
Thank you Jen, for all you do for Cynergy and the community of athletes you coach. You have impacted so many lives and I am extremely grateful and honored to have you on our team!

Getting to know Jennifer Tully:
What brought you to Cynergy?
At a time that I was feeling in a slump, I caught a glimpse of a sign on the side of the street, “Boot Camp ~ Get FIT Fast!” so I pulled over and took down the number. I started Boot Camp the next day with Keith!
How long have you been a CrossFitter and Coach?
I have been a member of Cynergy since 2007. I began with four months of Boot Camp then joined the “inside.” I became a coach in March of 2011 and a kids’ coach seven months later.
What is your athletic background look like?
I was never much of an athlete. I did play on the all-star softball team in my younger years but it was quite honestly out of luck. I had a good day the day of tryouts! I was always a member of global gyms where I sporadically took step aerobics classes in my leotards (haha!).
What would you say is the best part of being a Cynergy Coach?
The best part about being a Cynergy coach is witnessing athletes’ accomplishments over time and watching their confidence grow.
What advice would you give to a new athlete?
Track, record, and monitor your own progress. Write everything down! (movements, reps, weights, with dates) Sometimes you don’t even realize the strides you’re making until you see it in writing.
And, a veteran athlete?
Be o.k. With where you are, but don’t underestimate yourself. Don’t give up on yourself. Continue to track and be proud of your journey!
What are your current goals as a Coach?
To maintain positive relationships with the athletes and parents of child athletes. To hold the children’s (and adults!) interest with physical fitness with a fun, motivational environment.
And, as an athlete?
To be the best I can be in a given day or given week. To not get discouraged when I’m not where I was 10 years ago but instead to hold my head up high that I’m still here and still fit, 10 years later.
What is your favorite movement to Coach?
Push jerk / Split jerk
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Although swearing doesn’t bother me, I never swear. “Oh my God” and “shut up” were swears in my house growing up.
I was painfully shy as a child and let my twin sister do all of my talking (and swearing…haha!) for me.
How would you describe the Cynergy Community?
The Cynergy Community is supportive, especially when you find “your people.” To me, fitness is about more than just staying physically active – it’s also about nurturing positive mental health. As a social person, I value the chance to connect with others, and every class at Cynergy fosters that sense of community. The support and encouragement are constant, and if you miss a class or two, you can count on a fellow athlete and friend to reach out and check in.
What are some of your favorite or most memorable moments as a Coach?
It is so rewarding to me to be able to witness the tremendous growth in kids as they progress from the kids’ program to the teen class. Not only do they make amazing progress with their form and technique, but their growth with self confidence and social skills and interactions with peers is just as notable. I have been fortunate enough to be able to watch this progression first-hand with many of our athletes.
I can’t imagine where I would be if I didn’t spot that “Get Fit Fast” sign on the side of the road 11 years ago. Because of Cynergy, I have completed about 10 sprint triathlons and 2 half marathons. I have also competed in many CrossFit competitions. These were feats that I never would have seen myself accomplishing before Cynergy.
I have also met some of my best friends through Cynergy Boot Camp. Some of my most memorable moments are being a part of a special bond formed through our parking lot sweat sessions.
