Paula is a pleasure to coach and works extremely hard to improve her skills. Paula takes direction and coaching pointers very well, and gives 110% effort every class. We all really enjoy having her as part of the “LIVE Family” and appreciate the effort and enthusiasm you bring to the group!

What do you do for work?
I am retired, but I was an RN at South Shore Hospital for 42 years and taught clinical nursing at Massasoit for 13 years.
What would you like us to know about you and your family?
I have 2 kids, a daughter and a son. I have 6 grandsons that I am very proud of. I have been married to my husband Jack for 48 years.
What is one thing that we may not know about you?
I have run 9 marathons. I came in 3rd place at the Sugarloaf marathon with a time of 3:21:00.
How long have you been CrossFitting?
A little over a year.
What time do you typically train?
The LIVE class on Tues/Fri at 8am.
What is your favorite lift and why?
Deadlift, because it makes me feel powerful that I can lift heavy weight at 72!
What is your favorite WOD and why?
I like to do deadlifts, Running, and ring rows.
What are your current life goals?
To stay healthy, active and live a long life.
What is your most memorable time as a CrossFitter?
For my birthday when the class surprised me with Guiness and cake.
How has CF impacted your life outside of the box?
Made me feel stronger and confident to pursue other goals.
How would you best describe Cynergy to others?
A place where you feel comfortable and your fellow athletes are like family. Everyone wants to help you push yourself to be your best.
