Athlete Spotlight — Kristy Meserve

Congratulations to Kristy Meserve, Cynergy CrossFit’s Athlete Spotlight for May! We love your tenacity and motivation and you are a joy to coach! Your hard work and consistency has definitely payed off this past year! We’re so happy you decided to stick around with us between boot camp seasons.

What do you do for work?
Special Education Teacher for Avon Public Schools.

What would you like us to know about you and your family?
I have 2 children. Eva is 15 ½ and Collin is 13. We have 2 dogs, Billy and Hank. We are a big sports family.

What is one thing that we may not know about you?
I used to do Zumba 3-4 times a week (pre-COVID) and I loved it!

How long have you been CrossFitting?
I did 2 summers at Boot Camp but have been inside since September 2021.

What time do you typically train?
5 AM BABY!!

What is your favorite lift and why?
Deadlift because I feel so strong.

What is your favorite WOD and why?
I like any WOD that includes running, although I do not categorize myself as a runner.

What are your current CF goals?
Build more strength and stamina.

What are your current life goals?
Continue to be a role model for my children and impact my students daily.

What is your most memorable time as a CrossFitter?
Achieving my first pull up!

How has CF impacted your life outside of the box?
CF has helped me build confidence in myself.

How would you best describe Cynergy to others?
Motivation unlike any other, unconditional supportive family, accountability.
