Hello Athletes!
As the chalk dust settles and the final results are tallied, I just wanted to take this time to Congratulate ALL of you for a fantastic OPEN! These past 5 weeks have certainly had their challenges and with that so many incredible firsts!
I truly believe that competition brings out a different athlete in each of us.
You can feel the difference in the box….the nervousness of wanting to do well or attempting something you’ve never done before, the chatter of the strategic breakdown of the WOD, the encouragement and push from fellow athletes who truly want to see you succeed and the thrill of accomplishing something that you never thought was possible!
How could you NOT love being part of that?!
This was our first year dividing the box up into Teams. The energy and camaraderie was awesome! And, I want to take this opportunity to thank our Team Captains for all of their hard work and enthusiasm keeping the team points tallied and the fire going!
Captain Heather Blaine – The Green Machine
Captain Colleen Florence – Team Blue Bloods
Captain Celine Caeran – Team Blackout
Captain Danielle White – Team Code Red
Not an easy task and we so appreciate the amazing job! So, THANK YOU ladies!
Looking forward to the final team tally! 🙂
I am beyond proud of everyone who stepped in and gave it there all….from the athletes to the cheering section! And, I would love to hear from you!!
- What is your most memorable moment? As an athlete or a spectator?
- What did you learn about yourself these past 5 weeks?
- What did the Open bring out in you?
Continue to challenge yourself for more and congratulate yourself on a job well done!

I loved the feeling of accomplishment after doing the open workouts! I went in to most of them wondering if I’d even finish but ended up actually lifting my heaviest weights.
I’m so happy to be a part of this gym, everyone has been so welcoming and encouraging.
