WOD 03.05.10

By cynthiabrown | March 5, 2010

5 AM …great having  Dan Bruce back in!!

SKILL:  Row Techniques

10 Rounds for Distance

30 Second Sprint

2:30 Rest

*record each rounds distance and damper settings

The finer techniques of the row can make a huge difference in your workouts.

Proficiency of the movement is a skill that requires practice.  You all now have a really clear idea of where you need to be in terms of making the most out of each pull…..practice, practice, practice!

Have a great weekend and we hope to see you all out for the N. Weymouth Hill Run tomorrow….meet here after Open Gym!

I just do NOT know what to say about this?  any ideas?

Wait…there was time during the 10 second rest/rcovery time to jump down from the pull up bars to write down a number for that round and then get back up on the bar…for all eight rounds…yikes…may I suggest keeping a running total in your head for all eight rounds and then writing one number (very small) for that exercise…it would take less energy and then maybe there wouldn’t be such a big defference from the first round reps (13) to the last round reps (3)…just saying…TOO FUNNY!

“I wish I paid attention in algebra” Whatever you need to do to take your mind off the hell you are going through. Great job on the WOD Lonnie, good luck with the math nexttime. Can’t blame KB, I was coaching so my fault. Funny to watch though

I might have a solution. Burpees….You use the wrong chalk, you write using HUGE numbers…You go to the penalty box and do the number of burpees your trainer tells you to do!Then you steam clean the floor!!!!

I say you do the number of burpees that match the GIANT numbers you wrote on the floor…

  11. Itrain Says:

I will now be writing on my arm with a sharpie – there will be no extra burpees for me!

what is a burpee? Do you know?

He is trying to figure out the fine amount for speeding at 11 mph over the limit. At least we know that the town of Easton is an equal oppurtunity employer. Lonnie, next time use the big block of white chalk.

The only thing that could possibly be worse is if somebody broke Ciny’s jumprope.
