Griff… in the snow

By B | February 16, 2010

So, there’s a little snow on the ground and you gotta run backwards.  It’s the least we could do in honor of Griff.  R.I.P.

In honor of USAF SSgt Travis L. Griffin, 28, who was killed April 3, 2008 in the Rasheed district of Baghdad by an IED strike to his vehicle. Travis is survived by his son Elijah.

800 M run
400 M run backwards
800 M run
400 M run backwards

Looks like we had a few PRs today – even in the snow!

Great work!!

NOTE:  PLEASE DO NOT use the hand chalk to keep track of rounds – it’s not cheap AND that is not it’s purpose.  We have plenty of sidewalk chalk available.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Wait!!!! You mean I’m not supposed to use the 6″ X 8″ block of chalk like the mother-of-all-crayons and write on the floor of the gym???? What kind of crap is that?!?!?

Well, I hope I can at least cover my arms completely from fingertip to elbow in chalk, clapping as I walk from Point A to Point B in the gym…

actually i prefer to rub it in my hair! it really enhances that “white-on-white” thing i am trying to pull off!! it makes me look quite patriotic, i think..in a George Washington sort of way…wise, yet strong…
