As you all know we are having a Paleo Diet contest. For those of you that are interested in what the Paleo Diet is here is a little video that describes it. We are having some great success even in this short first 2 weeks. If anyone wants to talk more about it let me know and I will gladly do so!

Good luck to all participating in this latest challenge and those trying to incorporate it whether officially in the challenge or not. I became interested months ago when Holly, Steve and Cara held an informational Paleo presentation and it took a while for it to sink in. But as I made slight changes and continued to learn, I found the diet left me feeling a lot better, helped my personal goal of controlling my weight and absolutely allowed me to become stronger, having better more effective workouts.
I don’t do 100% paleo and never have but I do believe in it and appreciate Cynergy for introducing it. I wish you all success and recommend EVERYONE read Holly’s artice “Why Grass Fed?”. If you take nothing else away from all this, for the love of God try to eat organic, grass fed meats! The alternative is just plain icky!

I loved the video. I forwarded it to all my overweight co-workers that go down to our cafeteria and come back with burgers & fries or pizza and give me crap for bringing my own lunch and eat “rabbit food” every day. Of course, it’s these same people that have been saying “you look great” lately. Some day they’ll get it. It only took me 45 years.

I’ve recently bought the paleo diet for athletes and started on paleo.. loving it, my body has never felt so good and my gains have been pretty amazing thus far. However still mastering the recovery thing as I train twice a day and I tend to do the homemade almond butter a little too often but i’ll get there!
Slowly influencing others in the gym and family!
