Week 2 Paleo Challenge
By Cara | June 22, 2009
Hi Everybody,
The start of week 2. We want to hear from all of you to see how it’s going. We would like to share so if you would like, please send me a day or two from your food journal. I would also like to hear how you felt physically and emotionally. You can email it to me at caracap08@yahoo.com. We dont have to use your name, unless you want to.
This weekend i was doing some research on farms in the area and where you can find grassfed organic meat. I wanted to know a little more about it and came across this great website www.eatwild.com. This site is great because it explains how grassfed effects people the animals and the environment. Most of the grassfed meat farmers are in the western part of the state but Whole foods and Trader Joes have some great options.
We do have many great farmers markets close to us for fruits and veggies and much more.

Thanks Cara… I priced out some grassfed dairy products at Whole Foods the other day (I know you Paleo folks aren’t into the milk but it’s definitely a lesser evil) along with some meat… it’s unfortunately not cheap.
Farmer’s Market info is particularly helpful… thanks so much!
