Saturday Bootcamp

It was a great showing of Bootcampers on a warm and beautiful Saturday morning. Thanks for coming to play! After a warm up, stretch and circuit the WOD (workout of the day) consisted of 3 Rounds of a 400 Meter run, 21 KB Swings and 12 Ring Rows/Pull Ups/Jumping Pull Ups. Every camper finished this WOD with some time to spare. Great job everyone!

This WOD is basically a Crossfit WOD. It goes by the name “Helen”. Anyway, I chose to do this to show all of you how capable you are to make the next step into Crossfit. That step may not be this month or next month even, but it can and should be made. You all showed up and tackled a Crossfit WOD, it may have been scaled/modified a bit, but that’s perfectly o.k. Everyone starts somewhere. It is not expected that everyone who crosses the threshold into Cynergy Crossfit is going to do every WOD as prescribed. That is the beauty of Crossfit. If you have the determination, drive and intensity then you are equipped with all the tools you need. There is an Intro to Crossfit Saturday mornings at 8 AM which would also give you a taste of what Crossfit is all about.

Remember, the Bootcamps you are already attending are powered by Crossfit. Keep up the great work!
