Great job, everyone! I’m so grateful to be a part of this cul…um, family! During my marathon training I would read Cindy’s words every morning (which are hanging on my wall) about “I can’t” and “lose the self limiting beliefs, they have no place in your training” and it really carried me through. Through the slush and snow and freezing cold. It actually made me believe I could run 26.2 miles! And Keith’s ‘stop feeling sorry for yourself!’ rang through my head from mile 22 on, cuz that part kinda SUCKED. You guys are more inspirational in your words and actions than you probably realize. Thanks to everyone for your support!

What an amazing and inspiring day! You guys all rock! So proud of you all for taking on and finishing this incredible challenge. I am so happy I got to see many of you crossing the finish line. I am not an emotional person, but man did I have trouble trying to contain all the tears that day! The event is incredible – where else can you see world class professional runners and ordinary people who are taking on an extraordinary challenge in the same event. It was amazing to see and hear so many incredible stories of those who participated. To watch someone who has no legs run or wheel across the finish line – there are simply no words. My hats off to all of you – what an accomplishment. As John said – you did something that 99.9% of the world will never do!
