This entire experience has done nothing but make us all better people. If it wasn’t for Cindy and Kieth we wouldn’t have had this chance. I think I speak for eveyone when I say Thank you for everything! Great Job Pembroke Fire, way to represent!

I agree with Mike, if not for Cindy, Keith and your team of trainers this experience would not have happed for us. Thank you all for an inspirational experience and chance to become a part of your family. What great effort and team work by all atheletes involved.
Did everyone see the pic of that graceful flamingo?? He’s totally jacked!!

I echo my brothers sentiments exactly. Keith, Cindy and the entire cynergy staff provide such an excellent atmosphere for learning fitness that my only regret was time missed because of injury. When I was able to return you welcomed me back with patience, caring and reminded me to take baby steps. Lindsey a special thanks to you for taking the time to coach me upon my return and to B some day we’ll get past that pole to pole thing. The first responders on the South Shore are privledged to be a part of your family as I hope you feel you are a part of ours. Great work by every one on 3/28/2009 The Fairburn. RIP brother

I think I’m just starting to recover from yesterday! What a fitting end to an amazing challenge! I was so proud of so many people yesterday. Tee, Derek A, Don, Sue, Chief, Buzz and all the other responders. You guys & ladies were true warriors!!! Also thanks to all the trainers and coachs!! Especially Chip and Lindsey. You two are constanly pushing me. Chip thanks for yesterday! I went to that place that all I saw was that F’ing bar and you ( Derek A yelling too)That third round of cleans when I failed that first one I thought to myself I was beaten, Then you look straight at me and told me that you knew I could do it and to get under it and kill it. I don’t think I could have without you telling me that. I truely thank you for that. Also everyone keeps refering to the responders as “hero” well to me the true hero’s are Keith and Cindy!! The time, effort and the care and true compassion that you two gave to all of us is amazing! I am truely greatfully for all that you give. I know I would not have come as far as I have if it wasn’t for you! I can’t never thank you two enough. I am staying on as a member of Cynergy and I am proud to be part of that family now and hope I can give half the support and help that I have received over the past three months! Thank you again to everyone at cynergy and congrats to the the responders!! B’water Pd excellent job! But EBPD is already thirsty for that champange next year. I just want to thank all my team memebers for all the hard work you gave! I am proud of you all, and proud to call you my brothers and Lil sister (Tee)

I’m not sure there’s anything I can add to what’s already been said here. Keith and Cindy run such a first clas operation that I am also continuing with my Cynergy membership. The fact that so many of us “first responders” are staying is a testament to the way we have been welcomed, treated and coached by Keith, Cindy and the rest of the Cynergy Crossfitters who allowed us to invade them on January 6th for the 3 month challenge. I personally thank all of you for allowing us into your “house” with wide open arms! I want to make a special shout out to my coach Chip. He was there pushing me at the Superbowl Smackdown and then again yesterday for the Fairburn. That’s the beauty of Cynergy for me….people who genuinely care about what you are trying to accomplish and who push you to keep going when you would otherwise give up. I’m still not sure how I got through the second round of clean and jerks yesterday, but I know Chip (And Cindy who came up to lend her expertise!) had a whole lot to do with it. I also want to publicly thank Keith. Some of those evening classes have been virtually one-on-one’s with few people attending and Keith has been fantastic about taking the time to make sure we’re getting it right. The only time he’s been wrong was when he told me I could do 135 lbs on Saturday. *grin* I did 115 and had my issues with that….I promise I’ll do 135 next year buddy!

As far as I know there’s a good size group of the Hanson Fire guys who are staying on as well….I think we’re looking to give y’all a run for your money next year for that trophy. ;)

keith , now that you have a AED hanging around iam thinking by weeks end you’ll have somehow incorporated electrical shocks in to the WOD. won’t that just make it special

its hard for me to recall many…if any..times i have been short of words..but saturday now occupies a spot on that very short list…of course when my daughter saw i had been named as “Most Inspirational” announced “Heh look, Dad was voted Miss Congeniality” …gotta love how kids keep the ego in check. In any case…i can’t even begin to explain the moments that i have been so moved by ALL of you…the blizzard morning run..sweat steam rising…blood ripped hands…first chinups….the patience of the trainers “Chin up,headlights on” and the 101st explaination of a “kip” delivered with the same slow…calm words as the very first time i heard
them and SOMEDAY i will get it right…seeing a team of 2 gut it out..and seeing the BPD pound out the challenge..and Sig…well what can I say..
This has been a trip…can’t wait to have at it
    again…thanks

The last 3 months have been great thanks Keith and Cindy! It was great to watch everyone improve so much from day one! All of the FR should be proud of themselves to have survived 3 months painful workouts. I am very proud of EBPD and the hard work that we all gave! You guys were a great team and the support that you gave was amazing! Can’t wait for next year!
