Good morning everyone!
My name is Eric and I am Cynergy’s summer intern. As a new project, I will be running a small commentary on the Workout of the Day blog with hopes to motivate, inspire and provide a bit of humor to the daily routine. So read on cross fitters and enjoy!
Today’s workout: Main Event, Choose one of the following exercises or tasks to complete for time.
1 Mile Run
Karen: 150 Wall Balls
100 Burpees
Row 2000 Meters
Some thoughts before choosing your respective task, It is indeed around 90 degrees out with about 300% humidity, so if you do choose the run, please dial 9 and 1 on your cell phone before you head out so calling the ambulance is that much easier!
After the timed task has been completed, cross fitters are encouraged to practice skill work in the form of:
pull ups
glute ham developer sit ups
hand stands for one minute
squat cleans
All these exercises are great and really hit on some weak points of the body. Enjoy the work and I promise you will leave the gym feeling just a bit more like a gymnast!
