First Responders Challenge Results Day

Congratulations to all of our First Responders who participated in the 3-month long How Fit is your Force Challenge.

There were some amazing results from these men and women and I would like to acknowledge them for their efforts.

Best Increase in the Cynergy Test

(21-15-9 of Squat Thrust, Push Ups, Sit Ups and Squats)

David Langill of the Rockland Police Department. David broke an amazing 17.28 minutes off of his time!

Other amazing results for the Cynergy Test include

Brian MacDonald of the RPD who shaved 13.71 minutes.

Brian Coakly of RPD 12.7 minutes.

Tom Ford from the Whitman Fire Department took of 12.04 minutes and

Rodney Welch of the RPD 12.01 minutes.

John Sjostedt of the Duxbury Fire Department shaved off 10.58 minutes….and in his street clothes!

Amazing results men!

Chief John Llewellyn of the Rockland Police Department. Great work John! You set a great example for your department!

Best in Overall Individual Performance

Mike LaSelva of the Marshfield Fire Department. Congratulations Mike! Mike lost 3.7% body fat, and an amazing 9.75 inches of of his hips and waist! Your hard work really shows on you Mike!

*We’d also like to recognize

Joe Keneally of the Whitman Fire Department who lost 8.75 inches and dropped 3.2% body fat!

David Langill of the RPD lost 7.5 inches.

Joe McGlaghlin 3.0% body fat and John Llewellyn of the RPD lost 2.6% body fat.

Great Job to all of the men and women who took part in the challenge. It’s great to know that the men and women that serve our community are fit! Thank you!

    A very well-deserved win to Marshfield! It was an honor to workout next to you! I am so proud of your team and you individual achievements. You certainly have my respect! Rockland, Duxbury and Whitman - you were great competitors!
